The Society of Bluffton Artists SOBA is offering a special workshop featuring Mort Solberg. The workshop focuses on waterbase media. Solberg commented on the workshop. "We will work at painting in a more experimental direction, landscape, figure & florals & wildlife etc. I will demonstrate every day. I will be working in watercolor, Gouache, Acrylic, Gesso, and the combination of all of these mediums. I will also demonstrate at artists tables during the afternoon."
Solberg will also provide a critique of the participant's work. "Each student may bring l piece of their own work for a class critique if they like. I would like each student to bring something that they have been having problems with that we can work on."
This provides a unique opportunity for area artists to work with Solberg, an internationally recognized master artist. "I love working with artists. I try to give them alternative ways of viewing their work and new techniques to immediately apply. It's very rewarding to see the results," says Solberg.
